A product of the Timbers U-23s, Evans signs as the club’s second Homegrown Player. The Portland native played four seasons with the Timbers U-23s from 2009-12, helping the team win the 2010 PDL championship. He ranks among the team’s all-time leaders in games played and goals. Evans had three standout seasons at the University of Portland during his collegiate career, earning All-West Coast Conference honors all three seasons.

Made his Timbers debut June 12 as a 76th-minute sub in a 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the Fourth Round of the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at JELD-WEN Field ... Came on at halftime and played all 45 minutes of the second half in a 1-0 win over EPL side Norwich City FC in a friendly July 24 at JELD-WEN Field ...
