ForwardA veteran of six MLS seasons, Johnson joins the Timbers from Toronto FC, where he was one of the team’s leading scorers in 2012. He was drafted by Real Salt Lake in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft following a standout collegiate career at Oregon State University. A Jamaican international, Johnson has been a key member of the Reggae Boyz since 2010, scoring eight goals in 23 international matches.
ACQUIRED: Acquired by the Timbers on Dec. 12, 2012, along with goalkeeper Milos Kocic, in a trade with Toronto FC in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft, goalkeeper Joe Bendik and allocation money.
