Ross Schunk

Ross Schunk is the first Redlands’ player to enter the MLS via the SuperDraft. As the only NCAA Division III player invited to the 2009 MLS combine, he closed out his career as a two-time Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year and the school’s all-time leader in goals and points.

2009: Appeared in 3 games this season, playing 10 minutes…Played 71 minutes in friendly vs. Club America (7/15)…Played one minute vs. Chicago (7/4) in first-ever appearance at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park…Made first career MLS appearance at Real Salt Lake (6/6) coming in as a second half substitution for six minutes…Played in 71 minutes at Seattle (5/26) in second U.S. Open Cup play-in match…Played in 63 minutes at LA (4/7) in U.S. Open Cup play-in match.
