RightAfter two seasons with the Timbers’ USSF Division-2 Pro League side, Lopez joins the Timbers for their inaugural MLS season after being signed on March 17, 2011. Lopez appeared in 23 regular-season matches during his time with the USSF D-2 Timbers. A product of Mexican power Chivas de Guadalajara’s academy, he has spent time with the U.S. U-18 and U-20 national teams during his career.
2011: Earned the game-winning assist on a free kick in a 3-2 MLS Reserve League win over Vancouver, Aug. 21. Played 33 minutes in a 2-0 exhibition win over Argentina's Independiente July 26, picking up his first yellow card.
