Rodrigo Brasesco

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2010: Playing for Racing Club in his native Montevideo, Uruguayan defender Rodrigo Brasesco featured prominently for his hometown team in 2010. Helping Racing to the top of the Primera Division in the Apertura, Brasesco featured in all 15 League matches, while also playing an important role in Racing’s Copa Libertadores campaign. In South America’s premier club football tournament, Brasesco played in all eight Copa Libertadores fixtures, helping Racing to advance from the qualifying rounds and into the group stage against the likes of Corinthians (Brazil) and Independiente Medellin (Colombia).

2009-2010: Over the course of Racing’s two-term season, the Primera Division Apertura and Clausura, Brasesco featured in 24 matches (23 starts) for his club, registering 2,106 minutes of play.

2004-2008: Brasesco launched his professional career with Uruguayan Segunda Division side Institución Atlética Sud América. From 2004 through 2008 Brasesco featured for the small Montevideo club.
