Peter McGlynn

McGlynn, 23, was a fixture for UC Santa Barbara during his four years on campus. The Irish defender had two goals and six assists in 76 career games for the Gauchos. He previously played in the Shelbourne FC academy from 2000-08, helping the club to six league titles and four cup competition victories.

2009: Played in 19 matches and started nine, including the Gauchos' NCAA Tournament matches against San Diego and UCLA...Dished out two assists...Assisted Michael Nonni's game-tying goal in the 47th minute against San Diego State (Sept. 25) and David Walker's strike in the 11th minute of the Gauchos' NCAA Tournament match at UCLA (Nov. 29)...Fired six shots on the season, including a season-high two in the NCAA Second Round game at San Diego (Nov. 22).

2008: Made the most starts out of any freshman with 19 and played in 20 games for the Gauchos...Played 1,444 minutes to rank third in playing time among freshman...Single goal of the season tallied against UC Irvine (Nov. 1) for UCSB's only goal during the conference game.
