A talented striker, Paulo Jr. joined Whitecaps FC on January 16, 2013, after being selected with the 10th pick in Stage 2 of the 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft on December 14, 2012. Paulo Jr. continues his MLS career with Vancouver after playing the past three seasons with Real Salt Lake.

2012: In his third season with Real Salt Lake, Paulo Jr. appeared in 22 MLS regular season matches and registered two goals. 2011: In his second season with Real Salt Lake, the striker registered two goals while appearing in 11 matches. 2010: Paulo Jr. began his time with Real Salt Lake in 2010, appearing in four matches across the MLS regular season and playoffs.

UNITED STATES SOCCER FEDERATION DIVISION-2 PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE
2010: In his second season with Miami FC, the Brazilian appeared in 22 matches in league play, registering a team-high eight goals and adding four assists. He was named to the USSF D-2 Pro League’s Best XI team for 2010 and prior to his departure to MLS he was ranked in USSF D-2’s top five for scoring for the 2010 season.

2009: In his debut season with Miami FC, Paulo Jr. registered three goals and three assists across 18 appearances with the club.

CAMPEONATO BRAILEIRO SERIE C
2008: Paulo Jr. made his professional debut in 2008 with Ituano FC of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, appearing in four matches.
