2017 (San Jose Earthquakes): Played 22 games and made 20 starts … Tallied two goals and one assist … Recorded his first career MLS goal in a 3-2 win against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on March 11 … Was named to MLS Team of the Week during Week 1 and to the bench during Week 2 … Finished fourth in voting for MLS Rookie of the Year … U.S. Open Cup: Started and played full 90 minutes in all four matches of Quakes U.S. Open Cup run, eventually losing to Sporting Kansas City in a 5-4 penalty shootout loss on Aug. 9 in the Semifinals … MLS Cup Playoff: Did not feature in loss against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place on Oct. 25 in the Knockout Round.

College (California): Was a standout student-athlete at the University of California making 51 starts in 70 total appearances and tallied six goals and nine assists....  Started 16 matches and scored four goals, third most on the team as a senior … Was named NCAA Division I Men's All-Far West Region First Team and First-Team All-Pac-12 in 2016 … Was selected as the Pac-12 Player of the Week on Aug. 29, 2016 for scoring two goals, including the game-winner, against Penn State University … Received NCAA Division I Men's All-Far West Region First Team and First-Team All-Pac-12 honors in 2015 after starting all 17 of Cal's matches, tallying two goals and four assists while helping keep four shutouts …  Was named Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 as a sophomore in 2014.
