TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing The San Jose Earthquakes have signed defender Nick Lima via free agency, the club announced Wednesday.
How he joined the club: Signed as a Homegrown Player on Dec. 21, 2016.…Was the second product of the Quakes Academy to sign with the First Team following Tommy Thompson.
2019 (San Jose Earthquakes): Made 21 starts in 24 MLS appearances ... Scored second career game-winning goal vs. FC Cincinnati on May 4 … Recorded first career game-winning assist in 3-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on July 27 … Earned MLS Team of the Week honors for Weeks 10, 14 and 21 … U.S. Open Cup: Did not feature in Fourth-Round matchup against Sacramento Republic FC on June 11 … Did not feature in Round of 16 match against LAFC on June 20 … International Friendlies: Did not feature against C.F.
