2013: Missed the entire season following surgery on his left knee… Returned to play in the Eastern Conference Knockout Round game as a starter against Houston in the MLS Playoffs.
2012: Played 11 games, all starts, and 858 minutes in his first season with the Impact… Selected twice to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week, for weeks 9 and 13-15… Recorded his first MLS point, an assist, on May 12 against the LA Galaxy… Missed training camp and the first nine games of the season with a hamstring injury and the last three games of the season following surgery on his left knee… Also started three MLS Reserve League games
2010/2011: Played one Coppa Italia game with Inter Milan on Jan. 12, against Genoa… Was then loaned to Ukrainian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk for part of the 2011 season… Ended his contract with Inter by mutual consent on Aug. 31, 2011… Became the first player to sign a contract with the Impact for the 2012 season in MLS, on Oct. 3.
2009/2010: Was loaned to AS Livorno, in Serie A, where he played 16 matches scoring two goals, against Sampdoria and Fiorentina. Also started one Coppa Italia game, against Inter.
2008/2009: Won the Italian Super Cup against AC Roma…Played four Serie A games, again helping Inter to a league championship… Also played one Champions League game, in the Round of 16 against Manchester United, and one Coppa Italia game.
2007/2008: Transferred to prestigious Italian first division club Internazionale Milano in July 2007, for €7.5 million (approximately $10.5 million)… Made his debut with Inter in a Champions League match against Fenerbahçe, on Sept. 19, 2007… Played 11 games and helped Inter win the Serie A championship, while also playing five Coppa Italia games and three Champions League games.
2006/2007: Made his debut with legendary club CA River Plate in Argentina against CA Lunus, on Jan. 11, 2007… Played nine games and 615 minutes in the Premier Liga.
2004 – 2006: Re-joined Deportivo Cali, scoring two goals in more than 100 career games with Deportivo, winning the Copa Mustang for the second time of his career in 2005.
2003: Played three games with Deportivo Cali from January to June, and 18 games with Deportes Tolima, between June and December, helping the team win its first Copa Mustang, Columbia’s first division championship.
2002: Made his professionnal debut with Deportivo Pasto, playing 12 games in Colombian first division.
