PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2014 (Columbus/Dayton): George made four appearances for the Black & Gold in 2014, including two starts and two substitute appearances at central midfield. He returned to the Columbus on May 12 after being on-loan with the Dayton Dutch Lions of USL-PRO since March 12. George recorded seven starts at centerback for the Dayton Dutch Lions and started every match while at Dayton. He was called in for international duty with Trinidad & Tobago for a pair of friendlies: against Argentina in Buenos Aires (June 4) and Iran in Sao Paolo (June 8). The midfielder made substitute appearances in both matches. He made his MLS season debut as a substitute at central midfield versus FC Dallas (June 29) and he made his first MLS start of the season at central midfield against Montreal (July 19) as Wil Trapp missed the match due to red-card suspension. He earned his eighth cap for Trinidad and Tobago with a start against St. Lucia (October 10), missing Columbus’ match at Philadelphia (October 11) in the process. He was an unused substitute for both the Black & Gold’s postseason opener versus New England (November 1) and the second leg at the Revolution (November 9). He earned a call-up to the Trinidad & Tobago side for the 2014 Caribbean Cup. George made one appearance -- a start -- at central midfield in the 2014 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament. He started at central midfield in Columbus’ Fifth Round loss at Chicago (June 25).
2013 (Columbus): George made 11 appearances, including three starts, in his second season with the Black & Gold. He started once and made one substitute appearance at centerback while the rest of his appearances came in the midfield. He made his first appearance of the year at Montreal (April 14) and earned his first start of the season at centerback in the match at New York (May 26). He made his second start of the season and first at central midfield at Sporting KC (June 29) and made a second consecutive start in the match at LA (July 4). George made a substitute appearance in the international friendly against Wigan Athletic (July 13). He missed three matches while on international duty with Trinidad & Tobago, including the matches against New England (July 20), Houston (September 4) and Sporting KC (September 7). He made 13 starts in MLS Reserve League action – 10 at centerback and three in the midfield – and appeared in both of the Black & Gold’s 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches, appearing in the Third Round win against Dayton Dutch Lions (May 29) and starting at centerback in the Fourth Round loss at Chicago (June 13).
2012 (Columbus): As a rookie, George appeared in six matches with four starts. He made his career debut on May 23 in Seattle as a substitute and made his first career start three days later against the Chicago Fire. George featured on the Trinidad & Tobago U-23 National Team in its 2012 Olympic Qualification effort.

Has earned 10 caps, beginning in 2013 ... was called-up by Trinidad & Tobago’s senior roster for the first time in knockout stage of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup (July 20) but did not earn a cap or dress in the 1-0 loss against Mexico ... was called-up for the international tournament -- the OSN Cup -- from September 5-9 in Saudi Arabia and earned two caps in substitute appearances: against United Arab Emirates (September 5), against Saudi Arabia (September 9) ... made his third career cap in a substitute appearance in the international friendly against New Zealand (October 15) ... was called-up ahead of a pair of international friendlies against Jamaica and earned his first career start in the 1-0 win in the first friendly in Jamaica (November 15) before appearing as a sub in the 70th minute in the second match at home (November 19), replacing former Black & Gold midfielder Chris Birchall in the contest ... in 2014, made a substitute appearance in the international friendly tune-up against Argentina (June 4) and a substitute appearance against Iran in Sao Paolo (June 8) ... started against St. Lucia in qualifying for the 2014 Caribbean Cup (October 12) ... was again called-up for the 2014 Caribbean Cup, but did not make an appearance in Trinidad & Tobago's first match against Curacao (November 11) or in its second against French Guiana (November 13) ... George added his ninth cap in the Soca Warriors' group stage finale against Cuba by starting (November 15) ... the midfielder came on as a substitute in the 2014 Caribbean Cup Final against Jamaica in extra time (November 18), but the Soca Warriors fell on penalties.
COLLEGE EXPERIENCE
George started in 73 matches at University of Central Florida, finishing his college career with six goals and 16 assists. He led the team in goals his freshman year with four. George was named to the C-USA All-Conference First Team three out of the four years in college (2008, 2009 and 2011).
YOUTH EXPERIENCE
George played for Decatur High School and was the captain of his high school squad. He also played for the Concorde Fire club team. His U-17 squad won its R3PL division and captured the prestigious Disney Soccer Showcase Tournament. George's team finished as a Region III Semifinalist in 2007 and won the Georgia State Cup Championship. He also participated in the 2006 adidas ESP Camp and was a member of the Region III Olympic Development Program team from 2003-06.

PERSONAL
George is the son of Mervyn and Rhonda George. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the FIFA video game series, playing cricket and doing yoga. George also prefers reading business books and autobiographies, including Roy Keane’s autobiography. Musically, he likes to listen to reggae and his favorite artist is Sizzla. While listening to music, he enjoys dancing and what he calls “clowning around” to the tunes. His favorite vacation destination is home and would want to get to Dubai someday where his uncle used to live. Outside of MLS, George supports Manchester United and idolizes soccer player Edgar Davids. George is a Los Angeles Lakers fan and likes watching Kobe Bryant play. He lists his parents as his role models. Other than English, George speaks a local Trinidadian dialect of Patois.
