Javi Martínez

Javi Martínez made his senior national team debut during the 2010 World Cup, a tournament that Spain won. He made over 200 appearances with Athletic Bilbao before transferring to Bayern Munich in 2012.

Martinez has been a squad player for Spain since making his international debut in 2010. He is capable of playing as a centerback or defensive midfielder on the squad.

CLUB CAREER

Over six seasons Martinez made 201 appearances for Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. Since joining Bayern he has had a major hand in helping them win the last two Bundesliga titles and the 2012-13 Champions League.
