Hernanes is a playmaker from the central midfielder position who is known for ball striking ability.

BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Hernanes appeared in all five games for Brazil at the 2013 Confederations Cup with four of those coming as a substitute. He has registered a total of over 20 caps.

CLUB CAREER

Hernanes started his career with Sao Paulo, playing with the club from 2005 to 2010. He joined Lazio prior to the 2010-11 season and he scored 33 goals over three and ahalf seasons with the club. He joined Inter Milan in January.
