2016: Joined Spanish second division side Deportivo Alavés on Jan. 27… Scored one goal in 13 games, including nine starts, and 892 minutes, helping the club finish on top of the Segunda División table and earn its promotion to La Liga… Returned to the Impact on July 24, registering one goal and one assist in 12 regular season games, including 11 starts, and 991 minutes… Scored his first career goal in MLS on July 31 at D.C. United… Recorded his first career assist in MLS on September 10 in Philadelphia… Started all five MLS Cup Playoffs games.
2015: Loaned by Cruz Azul to Newell’s Old Boys, in the Argentine first division, on January 8… Played 18 games, including 14 starts, and 1,305 minutes in his fifth Primera División season.
2014: Started 10 games and played 844 minutes with the Impact in his second MLS season… Helped the team win the Amway Canadian Championship, recording one assist in four games, including three starts… Joined Liga MX club Cruz Azul on July 1, playing in eight Apertura games, including seven starts… Started three CONCACAF Champions League group stage games… Started the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup semifinal game against prestigious club Real Madrid in Morocco.
2013: Joined the Impact on July 23, becoming the second Designated Player in club history… Made his MLS debut on August 10 in Chicago, starting eight regular season games… Started the Eastern Conference Knockout Round game against Houston in the MLS Playoffs… Also recorded one assist in two CONCACAF Champions League games, including one start.
2012-2013: Scored one goal and recorded two assists in 25 games with Club Atlético Colón, in Argentina’s first division, after being loaned for the season by UD AlmerÃa … Also took part in one Copa Argentina game as well as one Copa Sudamericana game against Racing Club.
2011-2012: Scored one goal in 32 games in Liga Adelante, following UD AlmerÃa’s relegation to the Spanish second division… Played three Copa del Rey games.
2010-2011: Registered one goal and five assists in 33 games in his second season in Spanish first division… Played five games in the Copa del Rey, helping UD AlmerÃa reach the semi-final before losing to FC Barcelona.
2009-2010: Made his Spanish La Liga debut with UD AlmerÃa, following a transfer of 3 million Euros on July 20… Recorded three assists in 35 games, playing more than 3,000 minutes… Also took part in a Copa del Rey game.
2008-2009: Played 33 games with Newell’s Old Boys, recording three goals and two assists in close to 3,000 minutes in the Argentine first division.
2007-2008: Registered one assist in 29 games and 2,503 minutes with Newell’s Old Boys.
2006-2007: Made his professional debut with Newell’s Old Boys, playing 20 games in the Argentine first division… Played his first career game on October 1, against Club Atlético Colón.
