OUTSIDE MLS: Getterson played his first match as a professional in 2013 with Toledo in the Brazilian Paranaense 1. The forward scored two goals in 16 appearances before joining J. Malucelli, also in 2013. Getterson appeared in 45 matches for J. Malucelli in various competitions between 2013 and 2016. The forward found the back of the net five times in 13 games during the 2016 Paranaense.
