Cadden is a versatile young player that can play on the right flank or in central midfield. He will join Columbus for the 2020 season.
INTERNATIONAL: Cadden has earned two caps with the Scotland National team, making his debut last year in an international friendly against Peru (May 30). The Defender also featured for Scotland at the Under-21 level.
OUTSIDE MLS: Cadden last played in Scotland’s topflight from 2013-2019, making 139 appearances while scoring 12 goals and providing 21 assists for the club across all competitions. The defender helped The Steelmen finish in second place in the Premiership (2014/2014) as well as reach the final of the League Cup (2017/2018) and the final of the FA Cup (2017/2018). Cadden spent the second half of the 2014/2015 season on loan at Albion Rovers FC of League Two. While with Albion Rovers, he made 10 appearances and tallied two goals while helping the club win a League Two title and achieve promotion to League One.
