INTERNATIONAL: 17 caps for the US senior national team has scored four goals while adding three assists. First goal with the Men’s National Team came Oct. 15, 2008, in a World Cup Qualifier against Trinidad & Tobago. made a career-high 13 appearances – scoring three goals – in 2009, including five appearances in final-round World Cup Qualifiers ... was one of only two players that year to appear in final-round qualifying, the Confederations Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup ... a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team in Beijing, and made five appearances in Olympic qualifying and the Olympic Games.
OUTSIDE MLS: Signed his first professional contract with Hammarby (SWE) in 2007 made 55 appearances and scored 21 goals at Hammarby – including 15 goals in 2008 – before moving to Sochaux in July 2009 made eight appearances before sustaining serious injuries in a car accident on Oct. 13 in Washington, D.C., while on National Team duty for the United States. Ultimately recovered from his injuries and resumed training with Sochaux in April of 2010 finally making his first gameday roster since the accident on Dec. 19, 2010. Loaned to D.C. United on Feb. 15, 2011 and returned to Sochaux at the end of the 2011 MLS season eventually moving to Randers FC (Denmark) at the start of the 2012-13 season. Davies made 23 appearances with Randers, all as a substitute, before joining the Revs on loan on Aug. 9, 2013.
COLLEGE: A stand-out at Boston College for three years he was named to the Soccer America and College Soccer News Freshman All-America teams, and was BIG EAST rookie of the year. In his Junior year he was a finalist for the Hermann Trophy, earned NSCAA All-America first team honors, and the ACC offensive player of the year.
