Carlo Chueca

Chivas USA signed Peruvian midfielder Carlo Chueca from Belgium side RAEC Mons on Aug. 27, 2013.

As a member of the Rojiblancos’ Academy beginning at the  age of 12, Chueca ventured to Belgium in 2009 to join prominent European club RSC Anderlecht. It was there, at the age of 16, where the attacking midfielder played with the Belgium club’s reserves before moving on to sign with Mons.
 
During his stint with Mons, the Peruvian national was coached and developed by four-time World Cup veteran and Belgium midfielder Enzo Scifo. In his final two seasons with Mons, Chueca also participated with the team’s reserves.
