PRIOR TO NEW YORK
Fletcher began his youth career with Bolton Wanderers FC before he joined Manchester United's Youth Academy in 2012. He helped lead the Academy team to back-to-back Under-21 Premier League titles as he tallied three goals and two assists over a 13-game span. In 2016, he was loaned to Barnsley FC, where he recorded nine goals and six assists in 26 matches. Fletcher was then sent to West Ham United for one season, Middlesborough until the end of 2017, Sunderland for the first half of 2018, and then back to Middlesborough for three seasons. During that stretch, he accrued 171 games played with 40 goals and 19 assists. Fletcher most recently played for Watford FC in the English Premier League, where he played in six matches and scored two goals and added one assist across all competitions.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Fletcher has been called into U-20 England National Team, while he was at Manchester United's Youth Academy. He recorded one goal in two matches played.

The New York Red Bulls have added striker Ashley Fletcher on loan from Watford for six-months with an option to buy, pending P1-visa and ITC on February 28, 2022.
