Acquired: Traded from Columbus Crew in exchange for Dominic Oduro on June 6, 2014.

2014 (Toronto FC): In his second season with Toronto FC, Rey made seven appearances – including six starts – through the first 10 matches for the Reds before being traded. Rey started and played 78 minutes in the match against the Crew on April 5 at Crew Stadium. He made three appearances in the Amway Canadian Championship.

2013 (Toronto FC): Rey made 13 appearances – including nine starts – in his first season in MLS with Toronto FC and recorded one goal and one assist. He made his MLS debut in a substitute appearance against the Crew on July 27. He recorded his first career assist in the match against Sporting KC on Sept. 21 and added his first career goal in MLS in the club’s next match, against D.C. United on Sept. 28 in a 4-1 Toronto win.

2012-2013 (Xérez): In one season with Spanish side Xérez, Rey scored three goals in 28 appearances.
