A LOOK BACK:
U20s:

The U20s improved to 3-0-0 on the season with a pair of wins last week.

On Wednesday, June 10, the U20 Red Bulls scored two penalty kicks en route to a 4-1 win over the U20 NJ Rangers. Steven Amaya (New York, NY) and Sam Archer (Springfield Gardens, NY) each converted from the penalty spot, and Mario Rios (Denville, NJ) and Andrew Cuevas (Wayne, NJ) rounded out the scoring as the U20s improved to 2-0 on the season. Sheldon Parkinson (Bronx, NY) went the distance in goal.

"We had a lot of possession in the attacking third of the field," said U20 head coach Rob Elliott. "We were awarded two PK's due to the amount of pressure and time we spent in their penalty area. It was a matter of time until they fouled us in the box."

On Saturday night, June 13, the Red Bulls traveled up to Connecticut and earned a 2-1 decision against U20 Beachside. Walter Hines (Brooklyn, NY) got the Red Bulls on the board first and Anthony Vazquez (Belford, NJ) followed his own rebound to net the winner with four minutes to go. Parkinson earned his second win of the week in goal.

"Beachside made things difficult for us tonight, and it was a hard fought road victory." said Elliott.

U18s: The Red Bull U18s did not play this week.

U16s: The Red Bull U16s did not play this week as they prepare for the US Development Academy League playoffs.

U15s: The U15 Red Bulls completed a successful pre-academy trip to Bethesda, Maryland with a solid 2-0 win over U15 Bethesda on Sunday, June 14 in US Club Northeast Pre Academy League action. Fumio Himeo (Ft. Lee, NJ) opened up the scoring in the 24th minute as he slotted home a perfectly timed Conor Gleba (Midland Park, NJ) pass. Gleba provided the helper on the second goal as well, this time finding Travis Wantchekon (Brooklyn, NY) inside the penalty area for a 2-0 lead in the 52nd minute. Max Brown (Manhattan, NY) and Thomas Bull (Skillman, NJ) combined for five saves to preserve the shutout.

U14s: The U14 Red Bulls were defeated, 3-0, by U14 Bethesda on Sunday, June 14, in US Club Soccer Pre Academy League play. The Red Bulls started the game brightly, but failed to convert any chances. Against the run of play Bethesda opened the scoring and added another just before the half. Bethesda added another midway through the second half to round out the scoring.

"We moved the ball around and keep possession well at times, but we didn't have that killer instinct about us in front of goal," said U14 head coach Cris da Silva.
