Real Salt Lake are hoping Rio Tinto Stadium continues to be the fortress it was a year ago when they take on the New York Red Bulls in their home opener Saturday afternoon.

RSL, winners of 12 home games a year ago, ground out a scoreless draw in Week 1 against Orlando City SC at Exploria Stadium Saturday. Zac MacMath made two saves, his best a close-range denial of Chris Mueller in the 78th minute to help secure the away point.

The Red Bulls opened the 2020 season with a 3-2 win over FC Cincinnati at Red Bull Arena on Sunday. Kyle Duncan had a goal and assist; Florian Valot, who missed most of the last two seasons due to matching ACL surgeries, provided a pair of assists; and Kaku and Danny Royer also scored for the Red Bulls.
