Real Salt Lake failed to score in their opener against Orlando City SC last Saturday and their scoring woes continued in the first half against the New York Red Bulls in Week 2.
RSL saw the Red Bulls clear two balls off the line in a matter of the minutes. The first in the 29th minute came after a ball ran through the box and hit the post. Off a rebound Kyle Duncan was able to block a Damir Kreilach shot off the line.
Six minutes later Sean Davis cleared a Marcelo Silva off the line at the last possible moment. You can watch both plays below.
RSL did finally manage to get on the scoresheet thanks to Kreilach, as the home team got a 1-1 draw.
