Career Summary

Recalled from loan on August 12, 2019.

The left-footed Browne made a strong impression during 2019 Concacaf Champions League play and his standout performances led to an MLS opportunity with Montreal. His attacking flair, skill and speed were major factors in helping Panamanian side C.A. Independiente knock off Toronto FC in the Round of 16 and push Sporting KC to the brink in the quarterfinals. The Impact will be hoping those same talents make Browne, a 2014 Seattle Sounders trialist, a force in MLS.

INTERNATIONAL: On the international scene, Browne has played four games with the Panama national team as of April 2019, including two starts, making his debut on April 18, 2018, against Trinidad and Tobago. He’s also faced Ecuador, the United States, and Brazil in friendlies.

OUTSIDE MLS: Before his loan deal to MLS, Browne spent his entire career in Panama’s first division, playing for Plaza Amador, Sporting San Miguelito, Chorrillo, and C.A. Independiente. He scored 15 goals over his last two seasons with Independiente, taking part in 49 games, including 39 starts and 3,808 minutes of play. He won the league title with CAI in 2018, as well as with Plaza Amador in 2016. He has five Concacaf Champions League appearances under his belt.
