2021 MLS Cup odds: See where your club ranks as preseason gets underway

LAFC are the early favorite to win MLS Cup in 2021, according to the current odds from BetMGM.

Head coach Bob Bradley’s team was dealt +500 odds by the league’s official gaming partner, putting the 2019 Supporters’ Shield winners in line for potentially another trophy. LAFC fell disappointingly early in last year's Audi MLS Cup Playoffs but last winter they advanced to the Concacaf Champions League final before falling to Tigres UANL, the eventual FIFA Club World Cup runner-up.

Close behind LAFC are the Seattle Sounders (+800) and Columbus Crew SC (+900). Columbus and Seattle squared off in MLS Cup 2020, with the Crew securing a 3-0 win behind an inspired performance (two goals, one assist) from Lucas Zelarayan.

Other teams leading the way are New York City FC (+1000) and the Philadelphia Union (+1200), with Philadelphia winning the Supporters’ Shield in 2020. Toronto FC (+1200) also got favorable odds as they enter their first year under head coach Chris Armas after they fell narrowly short of winning the Shield a season ago.

The 2021 MLS season is scheduled to begin on April 17. Teams are currently in preseason camp and preparing for the league’s 26th campaign.
