TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
Charlotte FC have signed center back Jan Sobocinski from LKS Lodz in the second division 1 Liga in Poland, the club announced Tuesday.
Sobocinski, 21, is a Polish youth international, making six appearances with the U-21s. The left-footed center back came up through his hometown Lodz and had a short loan stint with Gryf Wejherowo in 2018 before returning to Lodz.
He’s made 75 appearances across all competitions for LKS Lodz, scoring five goals. This season, Sobocinski made 14 league appearances, all starts for LKS Lodz, third in the 1 Liga table.
Charlotte FC have now signed four players ahead of their first season in 2022, with Sobocinski following Sergio Ruiz, Riley McGree and Brandt Bronico.
