The United States will have more representation than ever in this year's UEFA Champions League, as a record 10 Americans have been named to their club rosters for the group stage prestigious tournament.
All 10 are under the age of 26, with Borussia Dortmund's Gio Reyna holding the distinction as the youngest US player eligible to feature at 17.
Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has the most UCL experience of the bunch, as the US men's national team standout will be looking to add to his current total of 26 career appearances in the tournament.
Former New York Red Bulls Homegrown and RB Salzburg midfielder Tyler Adams is looking to build on his notable entrance to UCL last season that saw score the game-winning goal in the quarterfinals against Atletico Madrid. Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie, Manchester City goalkeeper Zack Steffen, Club Brugge goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, Bayern Munich defender Chris Richards, Ajax midfielder Alex Mendez, and the Barcelona duo of Sergino Dest and Konrad de la Fuente round out the list.
Reyna, who is already youngest American to appear and register an assist in the competition, has the opportunity to break the record set by Pulisic for the youngest American to score a UCL goal.
The group stage is scheduled to kick off on October 20th.
