For MLS Jersey Week, presented by adidas, we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate one of the most precious possessions for any soccer supporter. Here’s what’s in store:
All-Time Jersey Bracket (May 18–24)
What’s the best MLS jersey ever created? It’ll be decided by a bracket featuring 26 jerseys selected by each MLS club and six wildcard selections submitted by Classic Football Shirts, one of the world’s most recognized brands in jersey culture.
The 32-jersey bracket will play out like this on Twitter:
- Bracket Release: Mon., May 18
- Rd. of 32: Tues., May 19 & Wed., May 20
- Rd. of 16: Thurs., May 21
- Quarterfinals: Fri., May 22
- Final Four: Sat., May 23
- Winner: Sun., May 24

During the MLS season, Friday is typically the day supporters show their club loyalty on social media by donning their club’s colors. Pick out your favorite one on May 22 and tell your fellow supporters why using the hashtag #FlyKitFriday.
Design Your MLS Jersey (May 23–24)
As part of MLS Unites, the league-wide platform created for fans during the COVID-19 pandemic, we'll be celebrating creativity and fan expression. What better way to show off that creativity than by creating your own custom digital version of your club’s jersey?
On Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, fans will have the opportunity to do just that on Instagram Stories and Snapchat, using a variety of featured customization options will be featured including stripes, patterns, shapes, colors and more.
Share your designs by tagging your club, @adidasfootball and @MLS and select submissions will be featured weekly on league and team channels.
#JerseySwapChallenge (May 18–24)
It’s a soccer tradition that’s existed for decades: the jersey swap. Several MLS stars past and present will share their favorite jersey swap throughout the week and invite other players to do the same.
We should be in store for some interesting stories. Just look for #JerseySwapChallenge on Twitter and Instagram to follow along.
