All league proceeds from the sales of new cloth face coverings will benefit Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. The effort is part of the launch of "MLS Unites: For Those In Need" initiative aimed at helping the relief effort for those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Additionally, Fanatics is donating one face covering for every face covering purchased.
The face coverings, manufactured by Fanatics Brands and Majestic Threads, feature all 26 clubs throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as the MLS logo.
The product follows the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendation that cloth face coverings be worn in public settings to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
