Two early goals accounted for all the scoring in a 1-1 preseason draw between D.C. United and Nashville SC in Clearwater.
D.C. United opened the scoring just eight minutes after kickoff, courtesy of a finish from Estonian striker Erik Sorga.
That lead would be short-lived, however, as Nashville's Derrick Jones drew a foul in the penalty box four minutes after Sorga's opener, allowing Designated Player Hany Mukhtar to drill the ensuing spot kick to level the contest.
Neither side struck again for the rest of match and the contest would end 1-1.
The result brings Nashville's 2020 preseason to close at 3W-1L-2D in six matches. D.C. United (2W-2L-1D) have one more exhibition match to go, set for a Saturday bout with the Philadelphia Union in Clearwater, Florida.
