The 2020 Major League Soccer season will see more teams vying for MLS Cup than ever before as Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC enter the league to take the total number of clubs to 26. That's enough teams to ensure that every club's 34-game regular season schedule for 2020 will no longer feature every other team in the league.
Here's how the schedule breaks out: All 26 clubs will play 17 home and 17 away games, facing every team from their own conference twice (once at home and once on the road). That leaves 10 open dates for 10 of the 13 teams in the opposite conference. That means each team will miss out on playing three others in the opposite conference, unless they meet in 2020 MLS Cup.
The full team-by-team schedule is available here, but for a handy guide on the opponents your team won't be facing in 2020, the list follows below.
