TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
The LA Galaxy are no strangers to being linked to Argentine players since Guillermo Barros Schelotto became the head coach, but the reports continue apace with another mercurial talent.
AS reported this week that Ricardo Centurion has canceled his loan with Liga MX side Atletico San Luis and is looking at the options for his next move. The winger said he was approached to join the Galaxy by Schelotto, a move that appears to be among the possibilities for the player for 2020.
Centurion, 26, is perhaps best known for his stints with hometown club Racing, where he won two Argentine Primera titles. But the winger has played for several clubs on multiple continents, including two short stints at Italian outfit Genoa, in Brazil for giants Sao Paulo, and for Schelotto at Boca Juniors, in addition to Atletico San Luis. Centurion has also been called up to the Argentina national team, but has yet to make his senior team debut.
If Centurion were to join the Galaxy, he would be the latest Argentine import, joining Schelotto and Cristian Pavon.
