The Seattle Sounders announced pregame festivities for Sunday's 2019 MLS Cup Final at CenturyLink Field against Toronto FC (3 pm ET | ABC, Univision, TUDN, TVAS, TSN) and two local sons will perform for the occasion.
Seattle rapper Macklemore, also a Sounders co-owner, will perform prior to the prematch rally at Occidental Park in Seattle, which will also feature appearances by former Sounders players Brad Evans, Erik Friberg, Andreas Ivanschitz, Chad Marshall and Tyrone Mears. The rally begins at 8 am PT.
Then the Emerald City Supporters will embark on their march to the match tradition, set to take off from Occidental Park at 10:45 pm PT. It's expected to be the largest such march in club history.
Gates at CenturyLink Field will open at 10 am PT, and for those who do not have a ticket to the game, Occidental Park will host a watch party at 11 am.
In addition to Macklemore's performance at the rally, Pearl Jam guitarist and Seattle native Mike McCready will perform the national anthem prior to the game's kickoff. McCready has previously performed the anthem at Sounders games. Check out his rendition from a 2014 match.
