The MLS Players Association released the updated MLS Players Salary guide for the 2019 season on Friday.
The newest edition includes players signed during the secondary transfer window this summer, and removes players who have departed or transferred, both within and outside MLS.
The guide contains base salary and annual average guaranteed compensation for all players under contract in MLS as of Sept. 13, 2019, as calculated by the MLSPA.
The association notes that annual average guaranteed compensation figures includes guaranteed signing and marketing bonuses, but not performance-based bonuses. The figures are for the 2019 season only, with deals signed for 2020 and beyond not included in the numbers.
