TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
The Houston Dynamo have received a significant transfer offer from an unnamed European club for star forward Mauro Manotas, a league source confirmed to MLSsoccer.com. The news was first reported by TV commentator Glenn Davis. No deal has yet been agreed for the forward.
The new proposal from Europe is more than the reported $8.5 million offer the Dynamo received from Liga MX side Cruz Azul earlier this season, the source added.
Manotas, 24, has scored 46 goals in 123 MLS appearances (86 starts), including 11 in 26 appearances this year. His heroics helped push the Dynamo to a U.S. Open Cup championship last season.
The Colombian was an unused sub in the Dynamo's 1-0 loss to Sporting KC on Saturday.
