The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended and fined one player following Week 23 of the 2019 MLS regular season.
Quioto violent conduct
The Disciplinary Committee has suspended Houston Dynamo forward Romell Quioto an additional game and issued an additional fine of an undisclosed amount for violent conduct in the 29th minute of the match against NYCFC on Aug. 8. Quioto, who received a red card for the incident, served his first game of the suspension on Aug. 11, and will serve the second on Aug. 17 against the Colorado Rapids.
Quioto failure to leave the field
The Disciplinary Committee has also fined Quioto an undisclosed amount for failing to leave the field in a timely manner after receiving his red card for the incident in the 29th minute against NYCFC.
