LAFC mass confrontation
The Disciplinary Committee has found LAFC guilty of violating the league's mass confrontation policy in the 73rd minute of their match against the LA Galaxy on July 19. As this is the organization's second violation of the policy this season, both the team and head coach Bob Bradley have been fined undisclosed amounts.
Ibrahimovic simulation/embellishment
The Disciplinary Committee has found LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic guilty of simulation/embellishment. The incident took place during the 29th minute of the Galaxy's match against LAFC on July 19. As a result, Ibrahimovic has been fined an undisclosed amount.
Seattle-Portland mass confrontation
The Disciplinary Committee has found both the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers guilty of violating the league's mass confrontation policy in the post-match phase of their meeting on July 21. As this is both clubs' second violation of the policy this year, both teams as well as Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer and Timbers head coach Giovanni Savarese were fined undisclosed amounts. Additionally, Sounders defender Roman Torres was fined an undisclosed amount for inciting the mass confrontation incident.
Cabezas entering the field of play
The Disciplinary Committee has found Houston Dynamo midfielder Juan David Cabezas in violation of the league's policy regarding the field of play. The incident in question took place during the 57th minute of Houston's match against Toronto FC on July 20. As a result, Cabezas has been fined an undisclosed amount.
Ring public criticism
MLS Commissioner Don Garber announced on Thursday that New York City FC midfielder Alex Ring has been fined an undisclosed amount for his media comments on July 19 that were subsequently published. These comments are in violation of the league’s public criticism policy.
