Toronto FC look to bounce back from a difficult home loss to the Houston Dynamo and possibly move above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference when they host an FC Cincinnati side that has lost back-to-back games after consecutive wins.
Toronto FC (8-9-5) dug an early hole it couldn't climb out of in a 3-1 defeat to the Dynamo at BMO Field last Saturday. Tommy McNamara opened the scoring in the 4th minute and Tomas Martinez made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Mauro Manotas put the visitors well ahead in the 57th minute before Jozy Altidore pulled TFC back a goal in the 75th minute.
FC Cincinnati (5-15-2) suffered a second consecutive setback, losing to the New England Revolution, 2-0, at Nippert Stadium Sunday. Carles Gil struck early for the red-hot Revs before setting up Antonio Delamea's insurance tally 10 minutes into the second half.
