The sweltering summer months are truly here, and the action in Week 19 of the 2019 MLS regular season show there were plenty of red-hot performances, something reflected in the Team of the Week presented by Audi.
Nine teams are represented in the XI and 13 in the 18, with the San Jose Earthquakes leading the way with two players and their manager represented.
Audi Player Index Spotlight
This week's spotlight player is San Jose Earthquakes attacker Vako, who had a goal, an assist and helped set up a third goal in a 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy on Friday. Vako earned 1,443 points for his performance, best in the league in Week 19.
In addition to his contributions on the scoresheet, the Georgian international had a 40 percent accuracy rate on 10 shots, won 100 percent of his take-ons, and completed 81 percent of his passes in the opposition half.
