Nippert Stadium is going to be rocking for FC Cincinnati's inaugural MLS home opener against the Portland Timbers on Sunday (5 pm ET | FS1 — Full TV & streaming info).
On Wednesday, the club announced that ticket sales have surpassed 30,000, before announcing a sellout on Saturday afternoon. Nippert has a sellout capacity of 32,250 this season.
FC Cincy picked up their first-ever MLS point at Atlanta United last weekend, courtesy of a late Roland Lamah equalizer. Now with their first MLS home game sold out, they'll strive for their first MLS win against last season's runners up.
The club announced that gates will open at 3:30 pm ahead of kickoff.
