Did you watch Sunderland 'Til I Die or All or Nothing and wished for an MLS equivalent?
Well, it's here.
ESPN and LAFC released a 10-part all-access documentary series "We Are LAFC" with all episodes available exclusively on ESPN+ for subscribers. The series chronicles the club’s first season in MLS, providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a top-flight club’s inner workings.
A Spanish-language version is also available and all 10 episodes are available for download in both languages.
Co-produced by Mandalay Sports Media, “We Are LAFC” is the latest in that network’s stable of critically-acclaimed films delving into a number of compelling modern sports personalities, from LeBron James to Peyton Manning to Duke University men’s basketball.
LAFC head coach Bob Bradley is mic’d up during practices, matches, meetings and locker-room addresses, as are GM and EVP of Soccer Operations John Thorrington, superstar captain star Carlos Vela and members of the club’s 31-person ownership group, including Larry Berg, Peter Guber and of course, the team’s most outspoken co-owner and fan, Will Ferrell.
LAFC’s second season begins on Sunday, when they host Sporting Kansas City in Week 1 (8:30 pm ET | ESPN).
Here are capsules of the 10 episodes of “We Are LAFC,” as detailed in the series release:
