Guillermo Barros Schelotto won't be the only Schelotto on the LA Galaxy bench next season.
GBS named his technical staff on Wednesday, as twin Gustavo Barros Schelotto, Ariel Pereyra and Dominic Kinnear have been officially appointed assistant coaches. Former Galaxy assistant Junior Gonzalez will remain with the club as a scout and Javier Valdecantos will join as a fitness coach.
Gustavo was an assistant for Guillermo at both Lanus and Boca Juniors. The 45-year-old's playing career featured stops across Argentina, Spain, Peru and the Puerto Rico Islanders.
Kinnear returns to the Galaxy after beginning last season as an assistant and finishing as interim head coach after nearly guiding the club to a run into the 2018 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
Pereyra, 45, played with the Schelotto brothers at Gimnasia in Argentina. He also was on Guillermo's coaching staff at Lanus and Boca.
