MLS Commissioner Don Garber has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the World Leagues Forum, announced at its annual meeting in Mexico City on Friday.
World Leagues Forum is an organization formed to represent the interests and collective views of professional soccer leagues. It represents 40 professional leagues around the globe, including MLS, Liga MX, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and more.
“Having been involved with the World Leagues Forum since its formation in 2016, I look forward to working with Christian Seifert and Enrique Bonilla as a member of the Management Group as we advocate on behalf of the professional football leagues on a global basis,” said Garber in a media release.
Christian Seifert, the CEO of the German Football League, has been promoted to Chairman while Garber joins Enrique Bonilla, Executive President of Liga MX, as the two Vice-Chairmen.
