MLS Decision Day 2018 presented by AT&T will determine the Supporters’ Shield winner, the top seeds in each conference, and which teams get in the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs. With 11 games taking place at the same time on Sunday, there are plenty of ways to follow the action.
The clash atop the Western Conference between Sporting Kansas City and LAFC will be the FS1 spotlight match, announced by MLS on Monday. That broadcast will also include live look-ins on the other 10 games in action.
MLSsoccer.com will set the stage for a drama-filled Week 35 with “Decision Day Central presented by AT&T” providing an hour of in-depth pregame coverage (3:30 pm ET) and an hour of postgame expert analysis (7 pm ET) – all streaming live on FOX Sports social channels (FOX Sports Facebook and FOX Sports Twitter), MLSsoccer.com, and MLS social media platforms (MLS Facebook / MLS Twitter / MLS YouTube).
The digital studio show, with MLSsoccer.com host Susannah Collins, will consist of exclusive reports from around the league and commentary from former MLS players Jimmy Conrad, Calen Carr and Bobby Warshaw, as well as Armchair Analyst Matt Doyle and others. Beginning at 4:30 pm ET, FS1’s coverage of Decision Day will feature a live studio show before the game broadcast kicks off from Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan.
In addition to the U.S. domestic coverage of Decision Day presented by AT&T, Canadian broadcast partners TSN and TVA Sports will this week televise the Montreal Impact’s pivotal meeting against the New England Revolution, with Montreal in need of a win for any chance at finishing above the playoff line. On separate channel designations, TSN also will air Toronto FC vs. Atlanta United – where Atlanta are attempting to capture the Supporters' Shield over the New York Red Bulls – and the Portland Timbers vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
The final week of the regular season will air in more than 170 countries worldwide, with international broadcast partners carrying live look-ins as the drama unfolds on Goal Zone.
