Allianz Field is coming together quite nicely.
The future home for Minnesota United is nearing completion as it has just finished one of the final pieces of construction: the actual playing surface. Here's another update from Allianz Field.
The Loons will hope to carry their strong home form into their brand new stadium next season, as the team is level with the Montreal Impact for most wins at home amongst all teams currently below the playoff line.
Allianz Field construction is still on track and on budget for a mid-April 2019 home opener and has already been chosen as a host venue of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup next July.
