TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Minnesota United FC have improved their leaky defense in their second MLS season and are looking to further bolster their ranks by potentially signing Brazilian defensive midfielder Fernando Bob, according to The Athletic's Jeff Rueter.
Bob, 30, has played for eight different clubs across three divisions in his native Brazil, most recently on loan with Ponte Preta. The player has been on trial with the Loons and is a free agent.
Despite MLS's Secondary Transfer Window having recently closed, clubs can still add to their rosters by signing free agents up until the 2018 Roster Freeze on September 14.
Minnesota currently have Rasmus Schuller, Ibson, Collen Warner and Collin Martin as their primary central midfield options.
