MLS announced Tuesday afternoon that there are start time and TV coverage changes for two matches in Saturday's slate of MLS contests.
Due to excessive heat in the Portland metro area, the match between the Portland Timbers and Houston Dynamo has moved from 9 pm ET to 11 pm ET. The match, originally to be carried on ESPN, will now be available via ESPN+; Portland viewers can also catch it on FOX 12 PLUS, with local radio broadcasts on 750 AM/102.9 FM The Game (English) and La GranD 1150 AM/93.5 FM (Spanish). Houston-area audiences can catch the match on KUBE 57 with local radio broadcasts on SportsRadio 610 AM (English) and Univision Radio 1010 AM (Spanish).
The Sporting Kansas City-FC Dallas match, meanwhile, featuring two of the top three teams in the Western Conference, will move to the 9 pm ET (from 8:30 pm ET) at Children's Mercy Park, and will be televised on ESPN.
