Lee Nguyen's arrival, Will Ferrell's talk show turn have LAFC in spotlight

It's been some 48 hours for LAFC.

The close of the MLS Primary Transfer Window brought some very late drama, as LAFC completed a blockbuster trade with the New England Revolution for playmaking midfielder Lee Nguyen.

A deal was reached shortly after midnight Eastern Time on Wednesday, just before window closed. The deal was fully announced by LAFC in the morning, and some fans were waiting to welcome the 31-year-old to his new city when he arrived later in the day:
