The usual suspects helped lead LAFC to a 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at BC Place on Friday. Carlos Vela and Diego Rossi both notched goals in the win, and were both assisted by Marcos Ureña.
LAFC dominated chances on goal, recording 16 shots -- eight in the first half. The stalemate between the two sides ended in the 59th minute when Vela used his left foot to slot a golazo in the top corner before goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic could make any move to the ball. Rossi cleaned up an insurance goal just ten minutes later.

MOMENT OF THE MATCH:
LAFC defender Jordan Harvey substituted off the pitch in the 86th minute to a roaring applause from fans of his former club. The defender spent seven seasons with Vancouver prior to joining the LA side. There was clearly no bad blood between Whitecaps and Harvey as he made his way to the bench.
