Vancouver Whitecaps FC might not have been able to drop the hammer on a depleted LA Galaxy side, settling for a scoreless draw, but in attendance at BC Place Saturday night was Australian actor Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor in the Marvel superhero movies.
Hemsworth, who watched from a suite, is in Vancouver filming Bad Times at the El Royale.
Hemsworth, who also attended a World Rugby Seven Series tournament event at BC Place earlier this month, was presented with a Whitecaps FC jersey with his name and No. 18 on the back.
