LAFC will host German giants Borussia Dortmund and US men’s national team star Christian Pulisic in the first international friendly at Banc of California Stadium, it was announced on Thursday.
The incoming MLS expansion club will begin their inaugural season with a heavy slate of road games as construction is finished on Banc of California Stadium. They’ll open the venue on April 29, when they’ll host the Seattle Sounders in their first-ever home match.
There’s no announced date for the friendly with Dortmund, but it’s safe to assume that it won’t happen until after the Bundesliga season ends in May.
